Football, a game inspired by the recently concluded FIFA World Cup 2022™, was the opening act of QSS Sportfest 2023.
In the football field of UDST (University of Doha for Science & Technology), nine teams faced off in a competition between operations and head office.
Zaher’s squad, captained by Khader Al Khatieb won the tournament as the Champions!
The KARWA team captained by Som Nath Karki, came in second place.
Derrick Kato from Emiri Guard Team was awarded as the Best Player of the Tournament.
The Team Captain from Karwa Team, Som Nath Karki was awarded as the Best Goal Keeper of the Tournament.
Ahmed Mahmoud Mohammed Ali Neama from the Head Office Team (left) and Victor Muturi Muirui from Emiri Guard Team (right) grabbed the Top Scorer Award.
