Dear Qatar Super Stars,

As we head to the end of the first quarter of the New Year, new projects have begun to take off.

Looking back, we can proudly claim that the highlight of QSS’ milestones came to rise in 2021 and 2022, when we bagged the award for the FIFA Public Food & Beverage Concessions Programme for FIFA Arab Cup 2021™ (FAC21) and FIFA World Cup 2022™ (FWC22).  This made us even more competitive, having been awarded a globally-known mass sporting event. 

 

Just when we thought we are already a master in implementing mitigation and contingency plans, our project at the FIFA tested even more our readiness for sudden operational changes.

 

I literally spent more time on the walkie-talkie every day, handling operational issues, getting dinner and snacks for employees who never left the workplace, and making snap judgments to keep things under control.

 

But the most important lesson we learned from this project is that in executing a mass event, RELIABLITY makes a company win and the RELIABLE employee outshines the rest!

 

Thank you, Qatar Super Stars for remaining steadfast. We hope that whenever you see a replica of the FIFA trophy, read an article about or hear the official jingle of the FIFA World Cup 2022™, it gives you the feeling of pride and victory and makes you stop and say “I was in there!”

 

This will now be part of the company milestones and from this day, we are prepared for bigger achievements.
